About the role
We are looking for an ambitious junior product manager with experience as a software developer, product owner or product manager to join the team and help us build the next generation of cryptocurrency solutions. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and entrepreneurial problem-solver who wants to work in an early stage business, start-up environment.
Our mission is to make digital currency investments simple, safe and secure for everyone and we are building the next generation of cryptocurrency services for the fast-growing community of digital currency investors across the world. We aspire to be more than a typical cryptocurrency wallet: we’re setting out to solve all the problems that exist around owning cryptocurrency with a product that’s fair, transparent and easy to use.We are a Cardiff-based fintech / insurtech start up so you will be in at the beginning working with us to change the way people hold and manage their cryptocurrency. We have so much stuff to do and we want to release and learn as quickly as we can. This will be a challenging role which will suit someone who is focused, embraces change and wants to create something completely new.
Responsibilities
Initially manage smaller tasks as you take on more responsibility as you develop.
Oversee the product development process and ensure that the development team is able to operate at peak velocity.
Be responsible for sprint planning, task management and feature prioritisation.
Learn to accurately estimate features while coordinating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Manage the product backlog, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
Track and analyse the performance of our products and incorporate key learnings into your product optimisation strategies.
Collaborate with UX design, engineering and operations teams to develop the product, drive adoption and maximise product engagement.
Work with the wider team and marketing to develop new feature propositions.
Requirements
1-2 years experience working as a software developer or product role.
Well organised, structured, logical thinker who loves problem-solving
Interest in, and passion for, technology and customer experience.
A keen interest in fintech and insurtech.
Experience in or passion for Bitcoin, Ethereum, cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies
Excellent organisational, analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and unflinching work ethic
Enthusiasm, passion, ambition, and humility
Self- improver who wants to learn, reads constantly and loves to pass on their knowledge to others.
